At Carlton Vale Infant School we provide a learning environment that encourages children to develop as eager and independent individuals. The school is a safe, secure and exciting environment which encourages children to make the most of their own abilities and also value and respect the strengths and achievements of others. We value and celebrate the variety and depth of cultures in the whole community and encourage people to share with us their knowledge and experiences.
Education is a partnership between children, parents, staff and Governors. As a school community we value the help and support we give and receive from each other.
We believe in the UNICEF’s Rights of the child and that “Every child has the right to education” (Article 28) and that “Discipline in schools must respect children’s human dignity” and that it is our responsibility to achieve this.
