Royal Festival Hall
Year 5

On Monday 15th March 2010 Year 5 heard the London Philharmonic Orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall.
The concert included Bolero by Maurice Ravel and a new piece called Endangered Species by Stephen Chadwick.
For several weeks they had been learning about orchestras and learnt to play parts of the pieces they heard.

Here are some of the comments the children made after the concert:
The LPO is great. I would recommend it to anyone who likes music.
The music was amazing. The whole orchestra clearly practiced a lot.
It was interesting and new for me so I am glad I went.
It was really fun singing.
They filled me up with joy.
