2020 Admissions Consultation

As we are our own admissions authority, we need to consult on our admissions policy every 7 years or when there is a change.  We have never consulted on our policy and this year we are making a slight change to the co-ordinates of the school.

Please click the link below to view our proposed admissions policy for 2020.  If you have any comments or objections please ensure they are submitted  by 14th December 2018 for consideration by the school governors. The email address to send comments is  [email protected]    The final admission arrangements will be determined by 28th February 2019.

Proposed Admissions Policy 2020

Nursery Admissions

We take children from age 3.  Admissions to our Nursery are dealt with by the school.  Phone us on 0161 973 1392 to put your child's name onto our waiting list. See the main Nursery section for further details.

Admissions to Reception

For the September before your child's 5th birthday.

Our Published Admissions Number (PAN) into our Reception class is 60.

For details of how places are allocated, see our admissions policy
There is also an appeals timetable.  Before considering an appeal, however, you are invited to talk to the headteacher so that you can gain an understanding of how places have been allocated.  Phone the school to make an appointment if you wish to do this.

For a  map of Trafford's catchment areas, including ours, click here.  We have a joint catchment area with a neighbouring school, Wellfield Infants.  This was agreed so that, if either school is oversubscribed, parents should still be able to find a place for their child within the immediate vacinity.

To apply for Park Road, even though we are an academy, you need to fill in Trafford's coordinated admissions form as they do our Reception admissions.  You should find this on their website or contact them directly

Write:              School Admissions, Waterside House, Sale, Cheshire M33 7ZF

 E-mail:            [email protected]

 Telephone:    0161 912 5007

Complete your application with Trafford Local Authority either on-line or hard copy by  the set date (usually mid January).

The local authority will inform you of the decision in April when they allocate all school places.

All Other Admissions

For in-year admissions and admissions to year groups other than Nursery and Reception.

Please telephone or email the school (0161 973 1392) to check whether we have any available places.  We can put your child's name on our waiting list if we do not currently have a place.
